Hua Hin Beaches

Hua Hin, a seaside town just a few hours by car, train or bus from Bangkok. The beach is nestled on the Gulf of Thailand in the southern Thai province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. You can expect a long, flat stretch of sand that slopes gently into the ocean and is surrounded by a town with plenty of upscale hotels, resorts, and guest houses as well as places to drink and eat fresh seafood. In its former life, Hua Hin was a local fishing village.

Hua Hin beach itself runs for approximately 7km south of the main entrance at The Sofitel Hotel, all the way to Khao Takiab. Although the first kilometre can be busy with restaurants and deck chairs, you'll find some more secluded sites.

Further south of Hua Hin you will find Khao Takiab beach which is quieter than Hua Hin and further still you'll arrive at Suan Son beach.

About 20km south of Hua Hin is Khao Tao and Sai Noi beach and another 20km southwards is Khao Kalok. Finally, to the south is Ao Manao that is situated just outside of the provincial capital, Prachuabkirikhan. This beautiful curved bay is under the care of the Royal Thai Air force.

To the north of Hua Hin is the resort town of Cha-Am. Cha am’s beach is popular and well known destination. The beach is long and beautiful with tree lined on the road for miles.
